Gonna be another beautiful day out there today. Sunny skies with superb conditions - temps got down to the 20s last night and the east breezes have kept the snow cool, so follow the sun today. 162 days into the season and it's been a rockin' good time. THE LAKE TAHOE SNOW REPORT has been BROUGHT TO YOU this season BY TAHOE DAVES SKIS AND BOARDS and the Resort at Squaw Creek. Daily inspiration provided by the B5, Maggie Mae, the snow gods, and you. Just like the Energizer Bunny, this season keeps going and going and going. May is here and we're still rockin' with exceptional conditions and wide open spaces to play on. Break out the May Pole and dance it up, then head to your favorite sundeck, or the Jake's Big Hat Kentucky Derby party this afternoon, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Here we are - wrappin' up another month and once again conditions are sensational after nearly two feet of fresh snow fell this week. Hey just like bagels and cookies - day olds are just as tasty, right? Now get out there and celebrate Friday and the coming of May, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Lookin and feelin' like a mid winter day out there today. Fresh snow all over and another late season powder day in store. Get out and rip it up - there's plenty of elbow room, then head to the Truckee Business Expo this evening at the Resort at Squaw Creek, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Snow, snow and more snow. What a season this continues to be. up to 10" fell yesterday at the upper elevations and yup, there's more comin' today. April is struttin' out on the same lion she rode in on, with snow showers continuing through Thursday and sun on tap for the weekend. There's powder to be had for a hearty breakfast today. Grab a spoon and dig in, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Elvis has not left the building! Wild and windy to start today, with more snow on the way. Cold air and high winds today with a winter weather advisory in effect and up to a foot of new snow possible overnight. Keep the praise flowin people, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Well friends, alas it does appear - that today we find the end is near. We're down to the wire but there's still some great turns to be had. Rollin into late April with out chin's up people. There's more snow in the forecast and the lake level is rising. Take 'em while you can make 'em, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Another perfect day in store with sunny skies, calm winds and spring condish all over. Winding down the season fast now - hard to believe huh? Squaw Valley remains open daily this coming week and guess what ? There's more fresh snow on the way. Get out and take this sun while you can get it, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Servin up a sunny beautiful weekend with sweet spring conditions and a plethora of events and other distractions. Lather up and soak it up. And remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
Here we go - back in the spring swing. Sunny and warm again through the weekend, with exceptional conditions and plenty of elbow room. Sunscreen, bota bag, board shorts and bikinis, rip it up, then head to Mamasake in the VIllage at Squaw for the annual spectacle - the Handroll and Wasabi Eating Contest - this afternoon at 3. Go ahead Gomer, say it! Golleeee! Surprise, surprise! Mother Nature showing who's boss on Earth Day. Fresh snow all over as a low pressure system spinning over Nevada continues to shoot pow bands at us. One last pow day? We'll see... Whatcha gonna do to honor earth day? Well, I would strongly recommend you get out and enjoy it - and as you do - think about one new habit you can start to help make a difference and conserve, and remember, any day on the mountain is a good day.
